Nintendo offered for free eight alternate slip covers on that could be downloaded from the Nintendo web site. So collectors could encounter any of these nine slip covers for the game. The original cover had all eight characters from the game. The alternate covers featured one of the main character: Ophilia Clement (cleric), Cyrus Albright (scholar), Tressa Colzione (merchant), Olberic Eisenberg (warrior), Primrose Azelhart (dancer), Alfyn Greengrass (apothecary), Therion (thief) and H'aanit (hunter). Notice that the first letter of each name spells the name of the game. While as of 2/1019 the downloads are not available on the Nintendo website they can still be found and I noticed high quality versions on e-bay. The inside of the original cover had the name and a picture of each character while the alternate cover had a world map.
